Harmful App Says Google Play Protect
Recent update of the google playstore and its Play Protect security has been very strict of installing external apks on your android phone. This almost eliminates every applications that you can find in random websites and its not registered or uploaded in the playstore. Why would developers or modders not put their work in the playstore which could contribute to overall legitimacy of their work? Well, uploading your apk on Playstore, of course will have a lot of policies involved, this gets rid of mods and other related stuff with hacking. Also, uploading an apk in playstore requires a subscription or a one time payment, that you need to pay to Google so that they can host your application in the playstore. Its a bit trade-off, and so that's why many modders or devs, prefer to host it in some cheap or even free websites.

Well its your phone and you have all the rights to do whatever you want with your phone. The easiest solution here is to pause Play Protect from scanning newly installed applications on your android. With these you can easily install battle cats mods without hassle and its working.
Steps:
1. Go to Play Store.
2. Tap your profile on upper right corner
3. Click Play Protect
4. Upon reaching Play Protect, click the settings icon.
5. Click Turn Off or Pause.
6. While at pause, go to file manager and find the mod apk.
7. Install your battle cats mod.
8. Upon successful installation, head back to Play Protect and turn it back on.
Now Try Downloading Mods and see if you can actually install it right.
